Ping Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 26, 2026

The short version: Ping collects nothing. Everything you type, say, or schedule stays on your device. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no third parties.

What Ping stores

Your reminders (their text, times, repeat rules, and notification settings) are stored in a local database on your device. Ping has no server and never transmits this data anywhere.

Dictation

When you dictate a reminder, Ping uses Apple's on-device speech recognition. Audio is processed on your device where the system supports it. Ping does not record, store, or transmit audio.

Apple Intelligence

Ping uses Apple's on-device foundation models to understand what you type, such as turning "remind me at ten pm to study" into a scheduled reminder. This processing happens entirely on your device. Your text is never sent to Ping or any third party.

Notifications

Ping schedules local notifications on your device to remind you until you mark a task done. Notification scheduling happens on-device through iOS. No notification content leaves your device.

What Ping does not do

Data deletion

Deleting a reminder removes it permanently. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device.

Children

Ping does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date.
